About Me
Hey, I’m Marquixse
a digital artist born and raised in Queens, NYC, now based in Connecticut. My art is all about bold waifu energy, mixing anime pin-up style with goth, alt, and e-girl aesthetics. I work mainly in Procreate on my iPad, blending dark moods with soft glow effects that make each piece feel alive.
Over the years, I’ve created illustrations for influencers, content creators, and brands, while also building my own lane as an artist with a growing community of supporters who connect with my style. Whether it’s a sultry pin-up, a chaotic villainess, or a techwear-inspired waifu, my work tells stories of temptation, strength, and attitude.
Outside of commissions and collaborations, I design stickers, prints, and merch that carry my style straight into everyday life. I love creating visuals that feel personal, like art you’d want on your wall, laptop, or even your wardrobe.
When I’m not drawing, I’m usually gaming, doing self-workouts at the gym, or getting inspired by trips back to Japan — a place that deeply influences my creative direction. I’m a huge fan of NieR: Automata, and the character 2B was the spark that inspired me to create my original character Lola Gekido, who embodies the mix of power, allure, and edge that I pour into my work.
I’ve always been drawn to dark fantasy and cyberpunk/post-apocalyptic genres — from games like Bayonetta, Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, and my childhood favorite Wizard101, to modern titles like Stellar Blade, Nikke: Goddess of Victory, and The First Descendant. Movies like Underworld, Sucker Punch, and Alita: Battle Angel, alongside anime such as Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, Samurai Champloo, and Hunter x Hunter, fuel my love for worlds filled with supernatural energy, futuristic edge, samurai blades, and raw gunplay. Even series like Harry Potter shaped my imagination early on, layering magic and mystery into the way I approach storytelling in my art.
Every piece I share is more than just an illustration — it’s a reflection of the world I’m building, one waifu at a time.
Thanks for stopping by!
